2018 Wooden Boat Festival has ended

Stuart Weibel

Stuart Weibel is master and slave to S/V Ripple, being a 26 foot Atkins cutter built by the Northwest School for Wooden Boatbuilding in 1994. He lost his engine on the first day of a planned circumnavigation of Vancouver Island in 2017, and spent the remainder of his summer re-powering Ripple. Weibel cruises throughout the Salish sea and northward as far as Southeast Alaska. His previous presentations at the 2015 WBF (Sailing a 26’ boat to Alaska) and the 2017 WBF (Carving Gold-leaf Nameboards) were well-attended and well-received.
