2018 Wooden Boat Festival

From the most ancient times, artisans coupled primitive tools--little more than
strings, sticks and stones--with a deeply intuitive understanding of the
inherent truths of geometry to efficiently execute pleasing designs and
precision layouts and surveys. As you’ll see in these demonstrations, some of
these “tricks” for generating dimensions in certain relationships, specific
angles of intersection and all manner of shapes almost border on magic!
