“Demistifying Foils” has even gained some since last year. Listeners, through images and whiteboard drawings, learn about the nuances of foils, lift, and the ways humans have mastered them to navigate, sail faster than the speed of wind, and fly on the water. Listeners will also be presented with strategies and methods to construct efficient foils, with some simple geometry.
