This presentation will consist of two parts, 1. Rules and regulations relating to the incidental discharge from vessels and 2. how to comply with those rules and regulations without ruining the boating experience. Small oil spill and sewage discharge prevention techniques and tools will discussed. Attendees will leave with a better understand of how best to manage pollutants on their vessel and some free items that can used on their vessels. In addition, Dept of Ecology staff may be on hand to discuss the new No Discharge Zone (NDZ) and how it impacts boaters.
