The story of taking the lines of the Hughes Sportster and building the jigs and fixtures to create new versions of this 1943 “classic” dingy built by Hughes Aircraft alongside the Spruce Goose, made of 3 layers of 1/16” birch, using the same techniques.

All using a laser and hot melt glue instead of a tape measure! Lots of pattern making and shop tricks. Lots of pictures!
